Thoughts About Justice
Goals for the Future
Farming, Film Endeavors, and Nonprofits
I have many goals for my future involving farming, filmmaking, and nonprofit work. I plan on further involving myself in sustainable farming and I am always looking for opportunities to learn and gain experience in the field. Through that experience I hope to advocate for local food production and dismantle the economic privilege that may limit access to healthy, local foods for those living within a lower socioeconomic status. My end goal is to be able to make films regarding the state of the environment, advocate for the success of grassroots and national climate activist groups, and expose major injustices of the food production industry as well as other oppressive labor enforced by wealthy corporations in other systems of production. I plan on using my degree in advertising to assist nonprofits in expanding the reach and success of nonprofit organizations, especially through digital media.
